As someone that’s been lucky to have been involved in the entire process of production, from pre-production to workflow development to shooting; this has given me a unique insight and placed me in a role that’s allowed me to build and author editing guides, production guides, and more.
Working in Post Production with finishing & delivery has always provided a unique insight into how a broadcast production operates, as you’re now the person who inherits any problems along the way; this creates unique opportunities to train and educate. Over the course of my career at Vice I’ve held weekly coffee talk training sessions, collaboration opportunities to create standards and practices across Vice Global.
